Without any doubt: Intel’s Atom is a dominating factor at Computex 2008. More or less all motherboard manufacturers have at least a mini-ITX model based on the Atom to show. The Wind PC from MSI is ardently awaited amongst fans of the UMPC and MID mini-PCs.

An ultra slimline tablet from Albatron has been unveiled at Computex. The Rocker has a seven-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen, 128MB flash memory, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, a webcam, and SD and MMC slots. Everex showcased its Cloudbook, a 7″ netbook that uses a higher performance Low Temperature Poly-Silicon (LTPS) TFT LCD.
