Without any doubt: Intel’s Atom is a dominating factor at Computex 2008. More or less all motherboard manufacturers have at least a mini-ITX model based on the Atom to show. The Wind PC from MSI is ardently awaited amongst fans of the UMPC and MID mini-PCs.

Extreme processors? Consumers will have to pay an extreme premium! $1232 extra for a QX9300 over a base T8400 (2.26 GHz) CPU? Crazy?
