Review: Sony Vaio VGN-SZ71WN/C Subnotebook

Sony’s Vaio VGN-SZ71WN/C Subnotebook is made for the demanding Business user. With Sony’s Vaio line-up 2008 and brand new Penryn processors, the performance of this ultra portable notebook is still really good. The same goes for case, display and workmanship of the Sony Vaio VGN SZ71 WN/C. Well, with a price tag of more than 2000 Euro – for an Ultraportable – we expect that.

The review on Notebookcheck.net scores on the Pro side for the Vaio VGN SZ71 WN/C a solid case, made of light high-tech composite materials, a switchable graphics, a long battery life, the perfect illumination and very high brightness of the LCD, TPM security chip & fingerprint reader, WWAN for fast HSDPA and the weight of only 1.8 kg. Some of the Cons are still the excessive Windows installation and a whole bunch of bloatware like unnecessary trial and advertisement software. What? Oh yes, the high price, indeed!
