Digitimes reports, that although Intel is aggressively pushing Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) and its Centrino Atom platform, PC vendors still feel pessimistic about the market’s future in general. Digitimes calls an increasing demand for 7- to 10-inch netbooks, a declining worldwide economy and Nvidia’s ARM11-based Tegra as negative factors toward MIDs. Intel declined the opportunity to respond to this report, says Digitimes.
